You must be 21 years old or older to buy wine. Verification of age is required at the time of delivery. Failure to produce age verification forfeits the right to receive the shipment until identification is produced. In such circumstances, the order may be held in storage by the carrier until appropriate identification is produced, or it may be returned to the winery. All associated costs are the responsibility of and will be charged to customer.

To preserve the integrity of your wine, we recommend delivery of wine shipments to a business address, rather than a residential address. Delivery to a residence may cause a delay and / or heat exposure to your wine.
You can select from three shipping options during checkout. We use UPS Ground as our default shipping option, except for in warm weather. Customers in California and neighboring states can also select GSO Ground. During the summer months, we strongly recommend that you select the FedEx Cold Chain temperature-controlled shipping method to maintain wine integrity. This program runs from June to October. Alternatively, we can hold onto your shipment until the weather cools down. During periods of extreme temperatures, we may choose to delay shipments to ensure wine quality. Other options include 2nd Day Air or 3-Day delivery, please contact us for details.
We ship most of orders on Mondays to avoid long delays over the weekends, unless we have agreed with you on another specific date. FedEx ColdChain trucks leave Napa once a week on Fridays, and the delivery occurs in the beginning of the following week.
If you select "Pick up at the Winery” as a delivery option, your order will be available for pick-up at your convenience. Please call ahead so that we can have it ready for you.

Damage / Cork Taint Policy
If your product is damaged in shipping, please notify us immediately, and we will file a claim with the shipping company, as well as replace your damaged bottles.
By law, we cannot accept returns of alcoholic beverages unless the products are corked or flawed. We are also unable to accept return of wine that was damaged due to adverse weather conditions during shipment, or wine that is ordered in error. Weather damage may include leakage, freezing, and/or corks pushing. Please be sure to check shipping destination weather conditions before placing your order.
Should you be the rare recipient of a flawed wine, please let us know. We ask that you return the unfinished portion of the original bottle. We will replace or refund your cost for any bottle of wine that is flawed that was purchased through our winery or website. You will receive a full refund, including shipping and handling charges, or you will receive a full replacement order. To arrange for the return of corked or flawed products, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. Wines purchased through retailers must be returned to them.
At Y. Rousseau Wines we respect your privacy and support all efforts to protect it. We will never re-sell or distribute your personal information to any other entity.
When you place an order with us, we request your name, billing address, shipping address, telephone, credit card information, and email address. We understand the sensitivity of this information and maintain our files on a secure server to protect against unauthorized access. We use the information only for the limited purposes of processing your orders, administering our site and notifying you of upcoming wine releases and updates. We will not share your information with any third party outside of our organization, other than as necessary to fulfill your request, e.g. to ship an order.
